What Size Am I?
Confused about sizing? Unsure what size to order? Interested in an upcycled piece but aren't sure if it'll fit?
You're in the right place!
Here I will go through each size guide and explain how I size upcycled pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: I AM A UK BASED BUSINESS THEREFORE ALL SIZES ARE UK BASED. IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE UK, PLEASE MEASURE YOURSELF TO FIND YOUR SIZE. SIZE CONVERSION CHARTS CAN BE INCORRECT.
Size guide for Cami Smock Dress, Sweetheart Dress and Valentines Sweetheart Dress (Including any upcycled versions)
These styles are designed to be *slightly* oversized.
My bust measures 47" so i would order a size 18
In most shops I am a size 18-20 on top, you may need to size up/ down! All size guides are different so as long as your bust is 1"-2" smallr thn the size chosen it will fit correctly.
Size Guide for Joy Jumpsuits and Duvet Jumpsuits
For this guide, you need to measure all the way around the widest part of your bust (measure with a bra on if you usually wear one)
Once you've found your bust measurement, match that measurment with the "Your bust measurement" section
These are designed to be slightly oversized on the bust and very oversized and flowy on the hips.
To measure your inner leg, measure from crotch to ankle. If you are inbetween inner leg measurements, order a size up. EG: your inner leg measures 29" order 30" inner leg. The elastic will mean it wont be too long.
Size guides for Puff Sleeve Smock Dress, Upcycled puff sleeve smocks and Upcycled smock dresses.
These are designed to be oversized.
For this guide, you need to measure all the way around the widest part of your bust (measure with a bra on if you usually wear one)
My bust measures 47" so i would order a 16-18 if i wanted it semi oversized and a 20-22 for a proper oversized look.
Trousers Size Guide
I mostly make upcycled trousers but please let me know if you'd like some made from my made to order fabrics!
To measure your waist, measure all the way around the smallest part of your torso (usually a few inches above your bellybutton)
To measure your hips, measure all the way around the widest part of your stomach/hips.
This style is made to be fitted on the waist (with elastic) and quite oversized on the hips. I reccomend your waist corresponding to the waist section and your hips being 8"-10" inches smaller than the "hips" section
Upcycled Garment Guide
When upcycling/Reworking clothing, i measure the piece and size it to my size guides.
For example, most t shirts/sweatshirts are letter sizing (XXL,XXXL ETC) but this doesnt match with my size guides so i take the bust measurement and see what size it corresponds to so its easier to find your size.
EG: The size on a sweatshirt is XXL but the bust measures 52", I would mark this as a size 20-22 so that anyone who has ordered before or check these guides will know it fits them.
The same goes for anything secondhand, dresses, trousers etc.
